Modified Bitumen

Designed for low-slope or flat roofs, modified bitumen provides an effective means for moving water off of the building. Widely known as the most common roofing system in North America, this system utilizes a heat application process to melt the material and create a seal.

Build Up

Commonly referred to as “tar and gravel” roofs or by the acronym BUR, built-up roof membranes have been the most popular material used on low-slope roofs in the U.S. for over 100 years.

Single Ply

Single-ply roofing is constructed using flexible sheets of compounded synthetic materials manufactured for strength, flexibility and durability. Typically a variety of attachment methods are used to secure a single-ply roofing system, including mechanically attached, fully adhered or with the use of ballast.

Metal

A popular choice for commercial buildings, metal roofs are durable and require very little maintenance over the life of the roof. Metal panels are lightweight and easy to install, and they shed snow and water easily. Panels are applied over dense foam insulation, maintaining impressive R-values.

Steep Slope

Steep slope roofs are an excellent choice when setting up a water harvesting system. They are commonly found on historic buildings and in regions with heavy snowfall. Steep slope roofs can present extra challenges when it comes to safety.
